Look closely.... and you will see a little TOOTH ! Yes, that's right - Georgia has cut her first tooth and has had an attitude to prove it - ha ha ! She is biting everything in sight and we are sure that the tooth next to it is almost here too. But for now, we will just call her " snaggle-

A friend called "WOOBER"
Well, it all started with Katie .... and the famous "woober" that has been around since I was a little girl. Katie and I have been friends since we were 5 yrs old and the one thing that Katie could never be without was her "woober" . The woober was a lovely green horse ( but it did not look so much like a horse.... or any animal for that matter - just a big floppy blanket thing) ha ! The woober went with katie everywhere... to sleepovers, camp , even COLLEGE!! ...SO, it was very fitting that when Georgia was born , Katie gave Georgia a GREEN FROG snuggly blanket that would hopefully become her very own Woober too !! Well, the picture says it all -- GEORGIA is a true finger sucker and likes to sleep snuggly with her green frog blanket. I am not sure what she will end up calling it..? Maybe woober too !??? Everytime she holds this litte green frog I think of a dear lifelong friend- thanks for all the WOOBER memories Kate-kate !

NURSERY 101
oooh!!! yippie! It's sunday and we are going to church!
umm.. not sure I want to go to kids church dad ...?
Well, today was Georgia's first time to go to church nursery ! She has been attending service with us ( mainly because she usually had a feeding during the time we are there) and since she is getting to be such a BIG girl and can go longer stretches between feedings, we decided today was the DAY to put her in kids church . We were totally silly nervous parents but handed her over to GOOD care and to familiar faces of dear friends ! SO.... the report after service was.... drum roll please.... GREAT! She took a 45 min nap and was super happy to see us when we picked her up! Gee, I am glad that is over with and now she can play with friends every sunday - another mile stone behind us !

SWEET ROLLS
I am amazed at the ROLLS on this child of mine ! Here are some pics of her before her bath last night... enjoying some time with daddy and getting ready for a good nights rest . She has decided to roll from her tummy to her back to fall asleep now -- pretty crazy since she refused to sleep on her back as a newborn! ? Just when you think you have her figured out she decides to change things up! She has been waking herself up doing all of the flipping over but I think she is settling in to her new sleep position! What's NEXT!??

I think I can... I think I can....
" I think I can.... I think I can ".... Georgia is saying as she reaches for everything in sight! She has been so intrigued by all of her toys and anything she can grab onto (including glasses , plates and things she should not grab onto) ! We love to watch her play and learn and she stares at every little detail ... and of course puts everything in her mouth! Our new favorite thing to do is to put her in this POD seat and she will sit on the table as we eat dinner -- she is just happy to be in the conversation! I cannot believe how much she is changing from a" little baby" to a" little girl. "

Loving Bananas!
Bananas were a huge HIT this week! Georgia loved the sweet taste of banana in her rice cereal -- she smiles and swings her arms and kicks her legs - with such contentment. Next week we will be venturing on to applesauce and then pears. She is starting to get the hang of chewing/swallowing so we will wait to introduce the veggies until 6mos. Georgia is still not quite able to sit in a high chair without leaning so she is eating nice and comfy in her bouncy seat!
When it's bathtime ... Georgia is PUMPED ! This is her favorite part of the day !
All clean and ready for bed ... Goodnight !

Bring on the REAL FOOD
Georgia tried her first solids on July 5th --- YUM YUM! ( or not so much! ) We gave Georgia rice cereal and she really seemed to like the idea of eating solids now that she is the big 5 month old...however I do do not think the bland taste thrilled her ! ha ha ! BUT, it's rice cereal for this week and then on to FRUITS next week ! Every little adventure is so fun with her and I am amazed that our little one is getting SO BIG !
LET FREEDOM RING!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! It does not get much better than a hot summer day, sweet tea, watermelon and BBQ !! We spent the day at a friends wonderful pool and headed out to Leipers Fork to watch fireworks in the country with more friends and family !! We had an amazing day and Georgia was a real trooper-- she even stayed up past bedtime to see a few fireworks !
