Nothin' but cowboy boots !

Ok... this just made me whole day yesterday! A friend of mine (and her daughter ) passed these lovely gems on to Georgia a few weeks ago.... the PINK BOOTS ! They have been hidden in her closet because I  knew the moment she laid eyes on them it would be TRUE LOVE and she would want to wear them all the time... and frankly, they don't go with many outfits at this time  haha! 

 Here is how it all went down :  

  I changed her diaper, opened the closet door to put PJ's in the laundry... and then it happened ... I heard a small voice from behind me say " boots" ???   with a BIG SMILE!  

 and then.... she did this ..... 

I LOVE BOOOTTSSSS !!!!

Chattanooga Aquarium

This past weekend we spent time in Ringgold, GA with the in- laws and little cousins. We had a great time of relaxing and celebrating Sammy's 35th birthday ( yes, he does look stunning at 35!!) AND we also took a trip to the Chattanooga Aquarium , which was fantastic! Georgia had a long day with no time for napping...she was running from place to place checking out all the cool fish and sea creatures. Her favorites animals were the Otters and penguins. ( we did not get too many pics of the animals because it was in a dark room with glass/water) There were so many great exhibits and cool things to see. My personal favorite were the salt water tanks with sharks and jellyfish - amazing! Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Georgia LOVES kitties... they are her favorite ! She followed their kitten around the whole time we were there !

Pass the Fork !

Georgia is moved out of the high chair and into the booster seat ! She thinks she is super cool with her chair scooted to the table and her fork in hand! She is doing pretty well with fork and spoon but still used her little chubby hands to pick up food too. Her favorite foods right now are scambled eggs with toast , fruit, avocado, mac n'cheese, chicken and yogurt ! Ahh.. the fun of NEW and MESSY stages!

You never Let Go ...

A few weeks ago, I attended a Joyce Meyer conference that was so amazing and Matt Redman led worship... This song is sweet encouragement to my ears... Knowing that GOD IS WITH ME no matter what circumstance I am facing. The Lord NEVER lets go of us and always has an ANSWER in his word for each test, trial, joy and sorrow. I am so glad that Jesus does NOT LET GO of me !!

sweet little Love

Our little "lovesies" ... as we like to call her is full of CUTENESS! My cousin Amy came over to keep Georgia one afternoon and decided to have a little mini photo session just for fun! Georgia is 18 months old

Georgia is 18 months old
and such a BIG girl ( she wishes ! ) ha!
actually her stats are as follows: weight 22lbs ( teeny) , height 29 3/4 in. ( tiny) - she has not grown but 3/4 in. since her 15 mo check! We have a petite one on our hands ...but I guess there is still plenty of time for a growth spurt.
She loves pig tails in her hair, toe nail polish, SHOES, macaroni and cheese, Jacks's Big Music Show and her "pinky" ( the cozy pink chenille blanket ) . She is full of life and makes us laugh all the time with her cute little expressions and words! My favorite thing that melts my heart is when she reaches her hands up to me and says" hold you" ....
we can't get enough!!!!

Pool time and Pony Tails

This summer has been super fun with miss Georgia Love ... I can't believe how fast it has gone by! This time last year she could not even sit alone and now she is walking and talking so much !! This age is so cute! We have had a blast taking walks at night, getting ice cream cones at the downtown square , and going to the pool !!! Georgia is also EXTRA cute these days because she can now put her whispy curly locks in a petite pony tail... and She is also unusually into SHOES ( we say she will be a shoe designer one day! ) ... this girl changes her own shoes all day long and then wants to put on ANY shoe that just might be laying around - ha ha ! I love it - my little fashion bug already.
