Busy Bees

This has been quite a busy time for the Ward family ... I can't believe that it's already May 1 and spring is officially here! This is a very different season for us with lots of different things in the works! I have been doing some fill-in work for a girl at the office who just had a baby so I am working during her maternity leave which means I am working 3 days a week and sometimes 4 days a week until the end of June - so needless to say, I am hardly having time to take pictures and blog regularly. BUT - lucky for me, I go back to my good 'ol schedule of monday/friday in July - ahhhh that will be good! Sammy is keeping Georgia while I am at work because he can work from home so we are so thankful that Georgia gets to have her daddy during the day and they get to have SUPER bonding time over books, princesses, jewelry and walks to the park! Here are some sweet pictures that we have just snapped over the last few weekends - Georgia continues to say new words every week and just warm our hearts with her huge toothy grin and sweet laugh. She is still not walking BUT I am not complaining because she is easier to corral - ha ha! HAPPY SPRING dear ones... enjoy the newness this awesome season brings!

Cruising the halls

Georgia is officially cruising BUT still taking her own sweet time ... she is not in a hurry to do much! Here is a quick video of her holding on to her baby doll stroller and taking sweet little steps -this is just too cute!

Happy Easter !

HAPPY EASTER !  I know... I know.. I am way behind on my Easter posting -oops ! We had a wonderful weekend filled with family and plenty of colored eggs, great food , sweet spring baskets and LOTS of memories. BUT most importantly, we celebrated JESUS and his sacrifice on the cross and the freedom we have in Him- what a gift !  Here are some pics from the weekend and also a video of Georgia with one of her Easter goodies from " mahnee" -  the fridge farm!

This is just "cuteness" in all sorts of ways ! Georgia is saying lots of words and adding her own personality to go along with it... We could just eat her with a spoon!

This just makes me laugh !  Georgia is so funny lately and learning new things everyday... but my FAVORITE new thing is when you ask her to "show me your smile" she does THIS !  Look at how hard she is smiling - She is hilarious!!

Step by Step ...ooohhh baby...

Step by Step...ooohh baby... gonna get to you giirrrlll!   Ok - this was probably the most fun I have had in a long time! 17 years ago I was completely and utterly in love with The New Kids on the Block and my entire room was covered with posters . This week , the New Kids came to Nashville and my sister and I were lucky enough to be there ( thanks Aaron for hooking us up with seriously awesome seats! ) I mean, who would have thought that a reunion tour would ever take place years later !??  I walked into the venue and there were thousands of screaming 30 and 40 yr old women ( and some husbands , ha ha ! ) wearing OLD SCHOOL  New Kids shirts and buttons ... it was hilarious! I totally felt like I was 12 yr old again BUT it was even better because I had awesome seats that I could have never gotten back in the day. Here are some great pics from the show . On a side note- I had some hilarious video footage that I have been trying to upload for a week now and blogger is not cooperating so I am afraid pics will just have to do . Sorry!   

Spring Fever

Today was a beautiful 75 degrees and we were loving every minute of it! Spring is so great because you just feel a sense of freshness and eagerness to begin a new season... everyone is outside, everyone is friendly , couples are holding hands, dogs are out playing frisbee and the air just smells better ! We had one of those days where it just felt GOOD to be with family and taking in all of the spring goodness. Georgia loves the park and I think she sat in the swing for a good 25 min - she laughs the whole time! Thanks Lord for such a beautiful day and for family... what a gift.
